If the wood blind is going to be hanged from the inside of the window frame, we will measure the top (A), the middle (B), and the bottom (C), of the inside of the window.
Write down as your measurement the smallest of the three measurements.
The height will be measured from the inside of the frame on both sides (D) and (E) and write down as your measurement the smallest of the two measurements.
If we are going to hang the wood shade outside of the window frame, we will measure the window (A) and we will add 2 inches on both sides of the window.
For example, if the size of the window is 70 inches, the width measurement will be 74 inches. The height measurement (B) will be measured 6 to 10 inches above the upper side of the window frame to the lowest part where we want the shade to rest.
If we want the wood blind to be hanging from the ceiling, we will measure from the ceiling to the lowest part where we want the shade to rest.
